Student Leadership

At Grey Street Primary School, we believe that students should be at the heart of their learning experience, taking true ownership of their educational journey. We provide our students with meaningful opportunities to actively participate in school decision making, serve as the voice of their peers, and contribute to the broader community. We are committed to ensuring that every student has the chance to demonstrate and develop their leadership skills, preparing them to become confident, engaged, and responsible members of society.

Student leadership roles at Grey Street include School Captains, House Captains, Junior School Council, Digi-Tech Team Members and Green Team Members.

Students who intend to gain a leadership role should demonstrate an understanding of and model our school values of Respect for Self, Others, Learning & Planet in every aspect of school life. Student Leaders should also aim to develop their leadership skills in the Six Global Competencies of Character:

Citizenship

Collaboration

Creativity

Critical Thinking
