Student opinion in the Attitudes to School survey data area of Teaching and Learning to be in the 3rd quartile in all areas by 2010. Staff survey data for ‘learning’ to be in the 3rd quartile by 2010. |
Implement a whole school assessment plan that informs the differentiation of the curriculum and purposeful teaching in every classroom Enhance the capacity of staff to lead, implement and sustain improvement through a strong Performance and Development Culture. |

To improve the transition of students into and through the school |
Student opinion in the Attitudes to School survey data in all three areas -Teaching and Learning, Wellbeing and Student Relationships, to be in the 3rd quartile by 2010. To maintain below state average student absence data. |
Ensure an effective transition for all students into the school during the year and in moving between year levels at the end of the year. |

Improve student safety and engagement with learning

Staff survey data for ‘outcomes’ to be in the 3rd quartile by 2010. Parent Opinion data to show improvement in ‘Student Safety’, above state benchmark by 2010. |
Develop a safe, student centred learning environment using student opinion data and POLT for teachers to strengthen and support student participation in all aspects of learning- curriculum, assessment, particularly the introduction of rubrics to direct learning. Enhance the teaching and learning of the interdisciplinary learning domains of the VELS, especially ICT through multiple modalities of learning. |
